Muscogee Nation Native American Soft Deerskin Tobacco Pouch with Dried Tobacco Twist Signed "Sonny Boy"
Muscogee Nation Native American Soft Deerskin Tobacco Pouch with Dried Tobacco Twist Signed "Sonny Boy"
Beautifully Native American-crafted with ample fringe, this supple deerskin tobacco bag will make a fine addition to your collection; it is offered to you as-found containing a tobacco twist! The twist is quite dry and flaky— I wouldn’t recommend smoking any, but it rounds out this authentic Native American artifact very nicely! It is signed inside the pouch “Native American Arts and Crafts ,Okmulgee OK, Sonny Boy”. I was not able to find any specific information about the artist, though Okmulgee OK is the considered the heart of Muscogee (Creek) Nation land and home to many Native American artists. The bag itself measures 6” long x 3.5 wide; when the fringe is included, the length of the whole bag/fringe is 15”. It has a deerskin drawstring closure.
