This is a terrific double saddle blanket that is just as happy on your floor (or over the back of a sofa!) as it would be slung over the back of your horse. Generous 30” x 60” size (please use a tape measure and double-check that this size will work for the space you intend to use it). This has all of it’s corner tassels intact and is a sturdy weaving in overall great condition, the only exception being a small (about 2”x3”) yellowish stain that can be seen in the cream-colored wool and an adjacent smaller stain in the same shade. I have not tried to remove the stain, but a professional cleaning might just get it out. I don’t recommend cleaning yourself, as these saturated reds often bleed into the neighboring lighter yarns. The stain does show on the opposite side, but less so. There are also some areas that are a bit faded from sun exposure that can be seen in the photos. This is a really nice specimen, and good addition to your collection. It has been sealed in storage for the past few years; it is clean and smells only of wool and perhaps a hint of cedar.
