Created to commemorate the first snow of 2022, this painting adds a subtle feel of the Southwest in an aesthetic that complements a modern neutral color palette. White gesso is blended to create a subtle 5-shade (translucent to nearly opaque) gradient as the “snow” falls and collects at the lower edge of the painting. The Belgian Linen has been left raw to reveal the beautiful color and texture of this natural material.
