Original Painting of Southwest Pottery in Antique Frame by Santa Fe, NM Artist Paul Baxendale
Back in 2010 I made a limited series of small gouache (an opaque watercolor-like paint) paintings featuring examples of art forms unique to the desert Southwest.
Here is one of those paintings… a fine old pot of the style seen at Acoma Pueblo, hovering against a white background. The medium is gouache on archival, textured warm-tone watercolor paper signed on the lower right and framed in an antique wood frame. The size is 7.75” wide x 9.75” tall x 5/8” deep.
This is a really nice piece of Southwest inspired original artwork… a fine addition to your collection!
