This is a magnificent, large sculptural wood piece that I used in making my “Cloud Gate” photograph. I sourced the Fir poles from downed trees in the forests above Santa Fe, and the stepped finial is cut from an antique mill-sawn pine plank; it has been washed in a thin coat of white gesso. If you have high ceilings, this may be perfect in your home! The poles have naturally occurring splits in them, but they are heavy and solid. This a beautiful piece that was a joy for me to make; I look forward to seeing it in it’s next home! Stands Stands 119” tall and is about 36” across at the base, measured from outside leg to outside opposite leg. This one is available only for pick up in my Santa Fe studio.
